Target Areas
The primary goal of loosening techniques is to weaken an assailant's grip or hold, creating an opportunity to break free.
Escape techniques build upon loosening techniques, forcing the assailant to fully release their grip or hold. Once an escape is achieved, you should either disengage and exit immediately or follow up with a counterstrike before exiting.
This section focuses on key target areas where strikes can effectively weaken or break an assailant’s grip or hold.
